Administration and Enforcement of Town Zoning, Inland Wetlands and Watercourses, Planning, Historic District Commission and Subdivision regulations.  Works under direct supervision of the Town Planner and receives direction and requests from Land Use boards and commissions.

Assist applicants with the land use permitting process; assist with the use of GIS mapping to determine location of wetlands, property dimensions, topography, building locations, etc.

Assist the general public with land use questions and regulatory requirements.

Process and issue zoning permits and certificates of compliance pursuant to the Woodbury Zoning Regulations.

Review and investigate complaints; issue notices of possible violations and cease and desist orders as necessary; assure violations are corrected; appear in court as necessary to support enforcement actions.

Monitor construction projects for compliance with regulations and conditions of approval; work with owners and contractors to ensure compliance or restoration; initiate enforcement as necessary.

Prepare regular enforcement reports and maintain enforcement log.

Attend inland wetlands and watercourses agency and other commission meetings as necessary.

Complete and file Department of Energy and Environmental Protection reports and other State reports in a timely manner.

Work collegially with Building Official, Health Department Officials, Director of Public Works, and other Town staff.
