2025 Legislative Session
CCAPA Legislative Agenda
The Government Relations Committee (GRC) of CCAPA has established its list of legislative priorities for the 2025 Legislative Session, which begins January 8. These priorities were the result of conversations with the Committee members, CCAPA partners, and a survey of membership. A number of the topics are carry-overs from prior years.
We have shared these priorities with legislative leaders from the Planning & Development, Transportation, and Housing Committees and will continue to communicate with them as bills get drafted and heard. We will also share these with our partnering organizations such as CAZEO, CCM, COST, the CT Bar, and housing advocacy groups like the Partnership for Strong Communities. We encourage all of CCAPA membership to share this document with your local legislators, from both your hometown and work location. Our expertise in explaining the local impact that these proposals will have will be essential to assembling sufficient support.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments, at ctplannersgovrel@gmail.com. Thank you.
