CCAPA Legislative Agenda

Dear CCAPA Members,

The CCAPA Legislative Committee is pleased to share the Connecticut Chapter of the American Planning Association’s Legislative Priorities for the 2026 Session.

These priorities reflect the key planning, land use, housing, transportation, and environmental issues that CCAPA will be monitoring and advocating for during the upcoming legislative session. They are intended to guide our testimony and outreach efforts and to ensure that the planning profession continues to provide informed, non-partisan expertise to the Connecticut General Assembly.

We encourage all members to review the attached document and become familiar with these issues, as they will shape much of CCAPA’s legislative advocacy in the year ahead.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments, at ctplannersgovrel@gmail.com. Thank you.
