The Town of Cromwell is looking for an individual who will plan, direct and coordinate municipal activities related to the planning and implementation of programs having to do with orderly land use development and growth of the Town. This individual will conduct studies and provide technical advice, information and policy recommendations on matters relating to land use and development, housing, transportation, economic development and related municipal planning areas.

Education and Training:
M.S. degree in Urban/Regional Planning or related field
Four years of increasingly responsible professional regional or municipal land use planning experience
OR
B.S Degree in Urban/Regional Planning or related field
8 years of increasingly responsible professional or municipal land use planning experience
*Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Age, Citizenship, Licensure and Background Screening [include others]:
AICP Certification Inland Wetland Enforcement Officer Certification
Must possess or be able to obtain Zoning enforcement Officer Certification
Possess or able to obtain a valid Connecticut motor vehicle operator’s license
